The Scottish voice of modern jazz for the first time in Prague!

Scottish composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Liam Shortall, aka corto.alto, brings a fresh mix of jazz, electronica, breakbeat, and bass dub. His debut album Bad With Names was nominated for the Mercury Prize, won Album of the Year at the Scottish Jazz Awards, and received the Act of the Year award at the Jazz FM Awards alongside names such as Ezra Collective and Nubya Garcia.

After a sold-out tour and success at festivals such as Montreux, North Sea, and We Out Here, corto.alto is heading to the legendary stages of Glastonbury and Latitude this year. In June 2024, he released the project 30/108—30 tracks in 30 days—and this year he is also heading to the US and major European stages.

On November 1, they will also perform at Café V lese in Prague!
